Amazon FBA Prep for DTC Brands, From One Building
For DTC brands, Amazon FBA prep runs on fewer handoffs when the inventory lands in one place. We receive your stock once in Fort Worth, TX, prep and forward cases to Amazon off your shipment plan, and ship your Shopify and Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders from the same shelves.

Why brands on Amazon and their own store keep stock off Amazon
With two vendors, every Amazon restock starts as a transfer from the warehouse that ships your store orders. With one building, the restock is picked from the shelf your store orders already ship from.
A brand that sells through FBA and through its own Shopify store used to be able to send most of its stock into Amazon and run the store on a small reserve. That is harder now. Amazon sets FBA capacity limits each month, measured in cubic feet, and since January 2026 those limits have tightened for many sellers. The stock that no longer fits under the limit has to live somewhere, and the store is where it can keep selling.
Amazon also stopped offering its own prep service for FBA inbound at the start of 2026. Units headed into FBA now get labeled and prepped before they ship, by the brand or by a prep center.
Running both from our building means the inventory is received once. Store orders draw from it as they come in. When you create a shipment plan in Seller Central, we pull those units from the same stock, prep them to Amazon’s requirements, and send the cases. Nothing has to move between two warehouses before it can go to Amazon, and nobody reconciles two sets of counts at the end of the month.
What runs in the building
The Amazon half and the store half draw on the same inventory and the same team. These run side by side, not in sequence.
Receiving, once
Inventory comes in through our service entrance at 1925 Golden Heights Rd. Clean case packs are received free. Parcel deliveries need no appointment; pallet and LTL deliveries are booked inside the 9 AM to 3 PM CST receiving window.
Store orders, picked and shipped
Your Shopify store connects into ShipHero, the system our floor picks against. Orders sync in, get picked and packed against live inventory, and ship with tracking written back to the order. See how DTC fulfillment works here.
Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders
If you fulfill some Amazon orders yourself instead of through FBA, we pick, pack and ship those from the same stock as your store orders. See Amazon merchant-fulfilled order fulfillment.
One count across listings
When one product carries a different SKU on each channel, we hold the stock on a single master SKU and link the channel SKUs to it in ShipHero, so a sale on any of them draws down one count. More on one inventory across channels.
FBA prep off your shipment plan
When you build a shipment plan, our software pulls the FNSKUs off it in Seller Central. We label, poly-bag or bubble wrap where the product calls for it, inspect, and build cases to Amazon’s case-pack requirements. The Amazon-only version of this service is FBA prep for brands.
Case forwarding and freight
Cases that arrive sealed and ready can go on to Amazon without being opened through case forwarding. For pallet shipments we coordinate the LTL carrier, generate the BOL and schedule pickup from the building.
One WhatsApp group for both
Each client gets one WhatsApp group with the people who handle the inventory. A question about an Amazon restock and a question about a store order land in the same thread, answered by the same team.
Who this is built for
This setup earns its place when the same products sell on Amazon and on your own store, and moving stock between two vendors has become its own job.
A fit
- Brands selling through FBA and a Shopify store, with SKUs that sell on both.
- Brands whose FBA capacity limit no longer holds the stock they need, and who want the rest shipping store orders instead of sitting.
- Brands paying one vendor to prep for Amazon and another to ship store orders, and reconciling counts between the two.
- Brands ready to connect their store to ShipHero and keep it as the inventory record.
How onboarding works
Four steps from the first call to the first store orders and the first FBA shipment leaving the same building.
01
Discovery call
We go through both halves: which SKUs sell where, how inventory arrives, what your Amazon SKUs need for prep, and how many store orders you ship. Then we say whether the operation is one we should take.
02
Agreement and wallet
A scoped service agreement, a prepaid wallet funded before work begins, and a WhatsApp group created for your account.
03
Specs and integration
Prep requirements are documented per SKU. Your store is connected to ShipHero, and the integration is tested before any order ships from our floor.
04
First shipment
We coordinate the first inbound into Fort Worth. Store orders start shipping from that stock, and your next FBA shipment plan is prepped from it.
Questions we get
Can one warehouse prep my FBA shipments and ship my Shopify orders?
Yes. Both run in our building at 1925 Golden Heights Rd in Fort Worth, TX 76177. Your Shopify store connects into ShipHero, and store orders ship from the stock on our shelves. When you create an FBA shipment plan, our software pulls the FNSKUs from it in Seller Central, and we label, bag, inspect and case-pack those units before the cases leave for Amazon. The same team handles both halves, in one WhatsApp group.
Should I move inventory out of FBA because of the capacity limits?
That call is yours, and it depends on how each SKU sells on each channel. What has changed is the pressure. Amazon sets FBA capacity limits each month, measured in cubic feet, and since January 2026 those limits have tightened for many sellers. Holding the overflow here makes sense when your store orders are drawing it down. If the plan is to park stock with nothing shipping out of it, we are not the right warehouse for it.
Do you send restocks to Amazon from the same inventory you ship store orders from?
Yes, that is the point of the setup. Inventory is received once. Store orders draw from it as they come in, and when you create a shipment plan in Seller Central we pull the planned units from that same stock, prep them to Amazon’s requirements, and send the cases. During onboarding we agree with you how stock is held between store orders and Amazon restocks, so both counts reconcile.
Do you offer Seller Fulfilled Prime?
No. We do not run Seller Fulfilled Prime and cannot put the Prime badge on your listings. We do ship Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders, the Amazon orders you fulfill yourself instead of through FBA, from the same stock as your store orders.
Is this the same as Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment?
No. Multi-Channel Fulfillment is Amazon’s own service, in which Amazon ships orders from your other sales channels out of your FBA inventory. In this setup your store orders ship from our building in Fort Worth, from stock held outside Amazon, and Amazon receives only the cases you send it for FBA.
What order volume do you need on the store side?
Store fulfillment here is counted in orders, not units, and there is no ceiling. The floor is about 30 store orders a month, which is a check that the stock held here is shipping rather than sitting. Past that, fit comes down to your SKU mix and how much space the inventory takes up.
How do my store orders reach your warehouse?
Through ShipHero. Your Shopify store connects into it, orders sync in automatically, and tracking writes back to the order once it ships. The ShipHero integration is required for store fulfillment here, and we test it before your orders start shipping from our floor.
Running Amazon prep and store orders from two places? Let’s look at it.
Tell us which SKUs sell on both channels, how your inventory arrives, and roughly how many store orders you ship a month. We scope the engagement from that and tell you plainly whether it fits.
