SMS and Messaging Terms
Last updated: June 19, 2026
These SMS and Messaging Terms explain how Marketplace Prep LLC (“Marketplace Prep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) communicates with you by text message and messaging apps, and how you can manage or stop those messages. By providing a mobile number to us and agreeing to be contacted, or by messaging us first, you agree to these terms.
1. What messages we send
We use text messaging (SMS) and messaging apps such as WhatsApp to support your account and your shipments. Messages may include:
- Operational coordination about your inbound and outbound shipments.
- Account, billing, and service notifications.
- Replies to questions you send us.
- Occasional service updates relevant to your account.
Our messaging is primarily transactional and account related. We do not sell or rent your mobile number.
2. Your consent
We send messages to clients and contacts who have given us a mobile number in connection with our services or who have messaged us first. Consent to receive marketing or promotional texts, if any, is not a condition of purchasing or using our services. Standard account and shipment messages are part of providing the services you engaged us to perform.
3. How to stop messages (opt out)
You can opt out at any time:
- SMS: reply STOP to any text message from us to stop further SMS. You may reply HELP for help. After you send STOP, we may send one confirmation message.
- WhatsApp or other messaging apps: reply to ask us to stop, block the number in the app, or tell us through our contact form.
If you opt out of operational messages, we may still need to reach you about your account or active shipments through another method, such as email or a phone call.
4. Message frequency, rates, and delivery
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and shipments. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. We do not charge you for the messages themselves. Delivery depends on your carrier and device, and we cannot guarantee that every message is delivered. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Your information
We use your mobile number to send the messages described here and to support your account. How we handle your information generally is described in our Privacy Policy. Messaging apps such as WhatsApp are operated by third parties and have their own terms and privacy practices, which apply when you communicate with us through them.
6. Keeping your number current
Please keep your contact details up to date and let us know if your mobile number changes or is reassigned, so that account and shipment messages reach the right person.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS and Messaging Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms or about messages you receive from us can be sent through our contact form.
