What a single dock inside the metroplex does that a spread of drop points cannot

DFW is one of the densest logistics regions in the country. The advantage is not being somewhere in it. It is having your receiving, your prep, your shipment plans, and your freight booking all originate from the same floor.

Marketplace Prep operates from 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200 in north Fort Worth, near the Alliance corridor where I-35W, US-287, and SH-114 converge. That position matters for how freight moves: inbound trucks from the Port of Houston, the Laredo border lane, and the BNSF Alliance intermodal yard reach us without crossing the metroplex, which is where cost and uncertainty get added when a prep partner sits on the far side of DFW traffic. Our loading dock takes 53-foot semis and 40-foot containers, with a forklift on site and appointment scheduling for every pallet and LTL delivery.

The metroplex also carries one of the heaviest concentrations of Amazon fulfillment infrastructure in Texas, across Fort Worth, Haslet, and Dallas. We do not pitch you on distance to any single one of them, because Amazon controls placement and routinely splits a shipment across regions you cannot predict. What we control is execution: accurate FNSKU labeling, case-pack compliance, and clean shipment plans our software builds in Seller Central, so that whichever destination Amazon assigns, your boxes arrive with labels and case packs that match the plan we filed.

That is also why one floor beats several drop points. Your client record, your inbound history, and your freight log sit in our MP Hub command center rather than split across drop locations, and every account gets a dedicated WhatsApp group at onboarding, so when something needs a decision you hear it the same day.

Getting inventory from across the metroplex onto our floor

Four ways inventory reaches our floor from elsewhere in DFW, and what each one asks of you.

Parcel

UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. Ship from anywhere in the metroplex and the boxes enter receiving as they land.

Pallet and LTL

Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches, so a truck is not sitting at the door without a slot. This is the lane for wholesale cases and private label production arriving direct from a supplier.

Driving it up yourself

Our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Sellers elsewhere in the metroplex can bring inventory in inside that window, though most never need to.

Outbound to Amazon

We book Amazon Freight through the Amazon Freight portal, coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and schedule carrier pickup from our Fort Worth facility, so your prep and your freight sit under one roof.

Who this is built for

Sellers across the metroplex who have outgrown doing prep themselves are who this floor is set up for.

A fit

  • DFW-area brands shipping 3,000+ units a month who have outgrown prepping in their own space.
  • Wholesale sellers moving case-pack volume, which has grown since Amazon discontinued its own FBA prep service.
  • Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
  • Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.

Questions DFW sellers ask

Where is the Marketplace Prep Amazon prep center located in DFW?

Our facility is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, in the north Fort Worth Alliance corridor inside the DFW metroplex. It is an 8,750 sq ft warehouse with a forklift on site and a loading dock that accepts 53-foot semis and 40-foot containers.

Can I drop off or ship inventory from elsewhere in DFW?

Yes. Sellers across the DFW metroplex ship pallet, LTL, and parcel freight to our Fort Worth facility. Pallet and LTL deliveries require a scheduled appointment, while parcel deliveries from UPS, FedEx, and USPS need no appointment. Receiving runs 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

What volume do you work with?

We are built for established sellers and brands. The ideal fit ships 3,000 or more units a month, and we consider 500 to 3,000 units a month case by case. We work with private label, wholesale, and brand-owned inventory rather than other sourcing models.

How is pricing determined?

Standard prep is billed at the published per-unit volume tiers on our prep pricing page, with every standard step included. Kitting, specialty work, and problem inbounds are quoted after a discovery call. Schedule a call to start that conversation.

Do you guarantee a turnaround time?

No. We do not make blanket turnaround promises. Lead times are scoped per engagement and documented in your service agreement so the commitment matches your real volume and SKU profile. Honest timelines beat promises we cannot keep.

Which Amazon fulfillment center will you ship my inventory to?

Amazon controls fulfillment center placement and frequently splits a single shipment across multiple destinations. We do not promise proximity to any one FC. What we control is accurate FNSKU labeling, case-pack compliance, and clean shipment plans our software builds in Seller Central, so your inventory is labeled and packed to the plan wherever Amazon routes it.

What tools do you run the operation on?

Our software builds the shipment and generates the labels straight from Seller Central. DTC order management and inventory run on ShipHero. Our MP Hub command center holds your client record, inbound history, and freight log. Freight is booked through the Amazon Freight portal.

Do you handle both FBA and DTC orders?

Yes. We run FBA Prep on our own software, which reads your shipment plan from Seller Central, and DTC Fulfillment through ShipHero, including Shopify, WooCommerce, and Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders. DTC at scale requires integrating your channel with ShipHero.

Prepping inside the metroplex? Let’s scope it.

We do not make blanket promises and we do not quote before we understand the work. Tell us your SKU mix, your volume, and how your inventory arrives, and we will scope it against what you actually ship.
