The shortest route out of McKinney usually skips McKinney

Your supplier’s pallet does not need to see your driveway. A case of wholesale inventory routed straight ononto our floor is one handling event shorter than the same case routed through Collin County first.

McKinney sits at the top of the metroplex in Collin County, where US-75 runs north through town and meets the Sam Rayburn Tollway at the city’s south edge, with US-380 crossing east to west above it. Our facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200 is in far north Fort Worth near Alliance, roughly an hour southwest of McKinney by road. Much of what we receive for Collin County brands never passes through McKinney at all: a domestic wholesaler shipping into the metroplex, or a container drayed up from a Houston port, comes onto our floor on an appointed LTL delivery instead of to your flex space and then back out again.

Where inventory does start in McKinney, parcel and appointed LTL cover it on one southwest run. Either way, the work that decides the shipment begins at our floor. At 3,000 units a month and up, the FNSKU labeling, the case-pack compliance, and the shipment plans take the hours that should go to buying and selling. Marketplace Prep was built by a seller who ran 6,000+ SKUs and more than 200,000 units on Amazon, so FBA rules are operational knowledge here rather than a help article. Our software builds and executes your shipment plan straight out of Seller Central, and your account gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, so you can ask what is happening with a pallet without opening a ticket.

Getting your inventory from McKinney onto our floor

Four ways inventory gets from McKinney onto our floor, and what each one asks of you.

Parcel

UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. Ship from a McKinney home base or a leased unit and the boxes enter receiving as they land.

Pallet and LTL

Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches, so a truck is not sitting at the door without a slot. This is the lane for wholesale cases and private label production arriving direct from a supplier.

Driving it up yourself

Our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Most McKinney sellers never make the drive, but the door is open inside that window.

Outbound to Amazon

We book Amazon Freight through the Amazon Freight portal, coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and schedule carrier pickup from our Fort Worth facility, so you are not chasing carriers from McKinney.

Who this is built for

Collin County has become one of the densest pockets of established ecommerce operators in Texas, with private label and wholesale brands scaling out of McKinney and its neighbors. That is the seller this floor is set up for.

A fit

  • McKinney and Collin County brands shipping 3,000+ units a month who have outgrown prepping out of a garage, a flex space, or a small bay.
  • Wholesale sellers moving case-pack inventory, which has grown here since Amazon ended its own prep service.
  • Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
  • Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.

Questions McKinney sellers ask

Where is Marketplace Prep located relative to McKinney, TX?

Our facility is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, in far north Fort Worth near the Alliance area. Most McKinney sellers ship inventory to us by parcel or appointed freight rather than driving it, southwest on the Sam Rayburn Tollway toward I-35W. You do not need to drop off in person; the majority of our McKinney clients send inventory by parcel carrier or by appointed LTL pickup.

Can I drop off inventory from McKinney, or do I have to ship it?

Both work. You can ship inventory to us by parcel through UPS, FedEx, or USPS with no appointment required, or arrange an appointed pallet or LTL delivery. If you prefer to drive it up from McKinney yourself, our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Pallet and LTL deliveries require a scheduled appointment.

Is there a size of seller this does not work for?

Yes, in both directions of the mix. The ideal account is moving 3,000 or more units a month on a low-to-moderate SKU count. Accounts between 500 and 3,000 units we scope individually. Catalogs fragmented across hundreds of SKUs with thin volume behind each one are the harder case: we will look, but the handling often outruns what the work is worth.

How do you handle box contents in Send to Amazon?

It is set by lane, not by habit. Every LTL and pallet shipment we build uses pack later, so box contents are declared once the pallet is actually built and confirmed. Every small parcel shipment packs first, with contents supplied up front. Getting those two backwards is a steady source of reconciliation work later, so we fix it at the front.

What box limits do you prep to?

A standard FBA inbound box tops out at 36 inches long by 25 wide by 25 high, and 50 pounds. The 36-inch length has been current since June 2025, when it rose from 25 inches; width and height did not change with it. A single unit longer than 36 inches can ship in an oversize box, which may then run up to 65 pounds and no further.

Do I need a liftgate or an appointment?

No liftgate. Unloading runs off our loading dock with a forklift on site, and the site handles a 53-foot semi or a 40-foot container. An appointment is required for anything on a pallet or moving LTL; parcel arrivals through UPS, FedEx, or USPS need nothing booked. Receiving runs 9 AM to 3 PM CST on weekdays.

How do you price prep work?

Per unit, at the published volume tiers on our prep pricing page. Every standard step, from receiving and inspection to FNSKU labels and poly bags, is included, and the rate drops as your monthly volume grows. Work outside standard prep, such as kitting or problem inbounds, is quoted after we see your SKU mix on a call.

Do you FNSKU-label every unit?

For resellers, yes, and that is no longer optional. Stickerless commingled inventory ended on March 31, 2026, so a reseller now needs an Amazon barcode on every unit even when the product already carries a manufacturer barcode. Brand owners holding the Brand Representative role can still run manufacturer barcodes. Our software pulls the FNSKU off your shipment plan.

Prepping out of McKinney? Let’s scope it.

We do not make blanket promises and we do not quote before we understand the work. Tell us your SKU mix, your volume, and how your inventory arrives, and we will scope it against what you actually ship.
