Parker County is not a warehouse market, and that changes what you should be shopping for
West of the metroplex there is no dense field of prep centers to compare on a per-unit line. The real choice is between keeping the work in your own building and handing it to a floor that will tell you the truth about what arrived.
Weatherford sits west of the metroplex in Parker County, where I-20 and I-30 carry traffic east toward Fort Worth and away from the warehouse density that clusters along the north Fort Worth and Alliance corridors. Our facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200 is on the north side of Fort Worth, a straight shot east. If you are holding inventory at home, in a small flex space out toward Willow Park, or having it freighted in from a supplier, that inventory reaches us by parcel or by appointed LTL on a single run east down I-20.
Distance is not really the problem here. Parker County is simply not a self-contained logistics market, so most Weatherford sellers either store inventory locally and drive it in, or have it freighted in and want it landing closer than Dallas. We receive both. At 3,000 units a month and up, what costs you is the FNSKU labeling, the case-pack compliance, and the shipment plans taking the hours that should go to buying and selling. Marketplace Prep was built by a seller who ran 6,000+ SKUs and more than 200,000 units on Amazon, so FBA rules are operational knowledge here rather than a help article. Our software builds and executes your shipment plan straight out of Seller Central, and your account gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, so you can ask what is happening with a pallet without opening a ticket.
Getting your inventory from Weatherford onto our floor
Four ways inventory gets from Weatherford onto our floor, and what each one asks of you.
Parcel
UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. Ship from a Weatherford home base or a small flex unit and the boxes enter receiving as they land.
Pallet and LTL
Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches, so a truck is not sitting at the door without a slot. This is the lane for wholesale cases and private label production arriving direct from a supplier.
Driving it up yourself
Our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Parker County sellers drive inventory in regularly, and the door is open inside that window.
Outbound to Amazon
We book Amazon Freight through the Amazon Freight portal, coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and schedule carrier pickup from our Fort Worth facility, so you are not chasing carriers from Weatherford.
Who this is built for
Parker County has grown a real base of brands running out of home bases and small flex units. That is the seller this floor is set up for, once the volume is there.
A fit
- Weatherford and Parker County brands shipping 3,000+ units a month who have outgrown prepping out of a garage or a small leased unit.
- Wholesale sellers moving case-pack inventory, which has grown here since Amazon ended its own prep service.
- Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
- Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.
Questions Weatherford sellers ask
Where is Marketplace Prep located relative to Weatherford, TX?
Our facility is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, on the north side of Fort Worth near the Alliance area. Most Weatherford sellers route inventory east down I-20 and then north through Fort Worth. You do not need to drop off in person; Parker County clients send inventory by parcel carrier or by appointed LTL pickup, and some drive it in.
Can I drop off inventory from Weatherford, or do I have to ship it?
Both work. You can ship inventory to us by parcel through UPS, FedEx, or USPS with no appointment required, or arrange an appointed pallet or LTL delivery. Parker County sellers regularly drive inventory in themselves, and our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Pallet and LTL deliveries require a scheduled appointment.
Do you guarantee a turnaround window?
Not as a blanket promise. Lead times are scoped per engagement and written into the service agreement, where they can account for your mix and your volume. A prep center that advertises one number for every client is either padding it heavily or planning to miss it.
What happens with heavy units?
There are two thresholds and they are not alternatives. A single item over 50 pounds needs Team Lift labeling; over 100 pounds, Mechanical Lift replaces it. Either way the label goes on the top and all four sides, five in total, and Amazon does not supply them, so they are generated as part of the prep. Oversized items are handled too, at the published oversize add-on rate.
How big can an inbound box be?
Thirty-six inches on the longest side, 25 on each of the others, and 50 pounds. The length moved up from 25 inches in June 2025 and a lot of published guidance still has the old figure, so it is worth checking anything you are working from. Width and height did not move. A single unit longer than 36 inches can go oversize, up to 65 pounds.
Who arranges the truck out to Amazon?
We do, as part of the engagement. That covers Amazon Freight bookings, LTL coordination, BOL generation, and pickup scheduling, with the pickup running from our address. You are not brokering a carrier separately and hoping the timing lines up with when the pallet is ready.
What is actually in scope here?
Receiving, inspection, FNSKU labeling, poly-bagging, bubble wrapping, bundling and kitting, case-pack building and compliance, shipment plan execution, and freight booking, plus DTC pick and pack for sellers on ShipHero.
Do I need a liftgate or an appointment?
No liftgate. Unloading runs off our loading dock with a forklift on site, and the site handles a 53-foot semi or a 40-foot container. An appointment is required for anything on a pallet or moving LTL; parcel arrivals through UPS, FedEx, or USPS need nothing booked. Receiving runs 9 AM to 3 PM CST on weekdays.
