Denton sits on the I-35 split, and your freight only needs one side of it
At the top of the metroplex the corridor forks, and everything downstream follows that first turn. Inventory that takes the I-35W leg reaches us without ever crossing the metroplex.
Denton sits at the top of the metroplex, where I-35 splits into I-35E toward Dallas and I-35W down through Fort Worth. Our facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200 is in far north Fort Worth near Alliance, on the I-35W side of that fork. If you are receiving wholesale pallets or private label production into a Denton home base or a unit off the Airport Road industrial corridor, that inventory reaches us by parcel or by appointed LTL straight down the I-35W leg.
Routing is the easy part. Denton carries a real population of operators, manufacturers, and ecommerce brands, and a lot of them hit the same wall: volume that has outgrown self-prep, without the internal headcount to run a compliant FBA operation at scale. At 3,000 units a month and up, the FNSKU labeling, the case-pack compliance, and the shipment plans take the hours that should go to buying and selling. Marketplace Prep was built by a seller who ran 6,000+ SKUs and more than 200,000 units on Amazon, so FBA rules are operational knowledge here rather than a help article. Our software builds and executes your shipment plan straight out of Seller Central, and your account gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, so you can ask what is happening with a pallet without opening a ticket.
Getting your inventory from Denton onto our floor
Four ways inventory gets from Denton onto our floor, and what each one asks of you.
Parcel
UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. Ship from a Denton home base or a leased unit and the boxes enter receiving as they land.
Pallet and LTL
Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches, so a truck is not sitting at the door without a slot. This is the lane for wholesale cases and private label production arriving direct from a supplier.
Driving it up yourself
Our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Denton sellers can drive product down and drop it inside that window.
Outbound to Amazon
We book Amazon Freight through the Amazon Freight portal, coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and schedule carrier pickup from our Fort Worth facility, so you are not chasing carriers from Denton.
Who this is built for
Denton keeps a steady base of operators and ecommerce brands, many of them past self-prep and short of the headcount to run FBA compliance in house. That is the seller this floor is set up for.
A fit
- Denton and Denton County brands shipping 3,000+ units a month who have outgrown prepping out of a garage or a small leased unit.
- Wholesale sellers moving case-pack inventory, which has grown here since Amazon ended its own prep service.
- Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
- Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.
Questions Denton sellers ask
Where is Marketplace Prep located relative to Denton, TX?
Our facility is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, in far north Fort Worth near the Alliance area, on the I-35W side of the metroplex. Denton sits at the top of the I-35 split, so inbound freight to us travels the same corridor your trucks already use. You do not need to drop off in person; the majority of our Denton clients send inventory by parcel carrier or by appointed LTL pickup.
Can I drop off inventory from Denton, or do I have to ship it?
Both work. You can ship inventory to us by parcel through UPS, FedEx, or USPS with no appointment required, or arrange an appointed pallet or LTL delivery. If you prefer to drive it down from Denton yourself, our client-facing receiving window is 9 AM to 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Pallet and LTL deliveries require a scheduled appointment.
Do you guarantee a turnaround window?
Not as a blanket promise. Lead times are scoped per engagement and written into the service agreement, where they can account for your mix and your volume. A prep center that advertises one number for every client is either padding it heavily or planning to miss it.
When does a bag need a suffocation warning?
Once the opening is 5 inches or wider measured flat. Two different measurements do two different jobs here, which is where sellers usually get caught: the opening decides whether the warning is needed at all, while length plus width decides how large the type has to be, from 10 point on the smallest bags up to 24 point at 60 inches and over.
Do my case packs have to be the manufacturer’s original cases?
No. A case pack built on our floor is declared case-packed in your shipment plan the same as a sealed manufacturer case. The rules that do bind are the ones inside the case: one SKU and one condition per case, every case in the shipment carrying the same unit count, and no more than 150 units in a case. If inventory arrives loose or in mixed cases, building it into compliant case packs is part of the work.
Who arranges the truck out to Amazon?
We do, as part of the engagement. That covers Amazon Freight bookings, LTL coordination, BOL generation, and pickup scheduling, with the pickup running from our address. You are not brokering a carrier separately and hoping the timing lines up with when the pallet is ready.
Do you handle wholesale and private label, or only standard FBA prep?
FBA prep, wholesale prep, and private label prep, plus DTC fulfillment and freight booking. Wholesale volume has grown since Amazon discontinued its own prep service after January 2026.
What kind of account do you take on?
Established sellers, generally a year or more in, who already know how their shipment plans and FNSKU labeling work. The ideal is 3,000 or more units a month; 500 is the floor and the range between the two is scoped one account at a time. We work private label, wholesale, and brand-exclusive inventory only.
