Ship Ecommerce Orders From Texas, Nationwide
To ship ecommerce orders from Texas is to start every parcel near the middle of the country. From our Fort Worth warehouse, UPS Ground is published at 3 business days or less to 92% of lower-48 ZIP3s. This page shows how ground transit falls across regions, what a carrier standard does and does not tell you, and how to check your own customers’ ZIPs.
- The short answer
- Most of the lower 48 is 3 business days or less by UPS Ground from Fort Worth, and 1 day across most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. These are carrier published standards. The quote tool gives the answer for a single ZIP.
Why a central origin shortens the map
Ground transit grows with distance from the origin. Start in the middle and no customer is a full cross-country haul away.
A warehouse on one coast puts the customers near it a short haul away and the rest as far as the continent allows. Ground days follow distance, so the far coast becomes the slow end of every order file. Central US fulfillment changes the shape of that map: the longest runs go to the corners, and the large middle of the country sits within a short hop.
Texas is a practical place to run that origin. Our building is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd in far north Fort Worth, ZIP 76177, and every transit figure on this page is measured from that ZIP. If you sell nationally, a single origin here means one inventory pool and one set of ground standards to plan around, not a split stock position.
The figures below come from carrier tools, not from our own delivery history, and they are standards rather than outcomes. That distinction matters, so the section after the chart spells it out.
Ground shipping times from Texas, region by region
UPS Ground business days from ZIP 76177 to each state, colored by the day count that is most common within that state.
UPS Ground from Fort Worth reaches 92% of lower-48 ZIP areas in 3 business days or less.
A state is one color, but its ZIP areas can vary. Across the lower 48, about 7% of ZIP areas are 1 day, about 32% are 2 days or less, and about 92% are 3 days or less. Upstate New York and a few far-West ZIP areas run 4 to 5 days.
Three services, three published ranges
The same origin gives you more than one ground option. Each carrier publishes its own standard by destination ZIP3.
UPS Ground
Published standard1 to 5 business days across the lower 48.
How it plays out92% of ZIP3s in 3 days or less and 32% in 2 days or less. One day across most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana.
USPS Ground Advantage

How it plays out77% of ZIP3s in 3 days or less. Two days across most of the same four states.
USPS Priority Mail
Published standard2 to 3 business days to every lower-48 ZIP3.
How it plays outThe narrowest range of the three, which makes it the one to compare where ground runs 4 or 5 days.

What a carrier standard tells you, and what it does not
A standard is the carrier’s published time for a lane. It is not a delivery date for your order.
UPS Ground standards come from UPS’s time-in-transit tool and USPS standards from the USPS service standards tool. Both are published by origin and destination ZIP3, and the data behind our quote tool was captured from them in May 2026. They describe how long the carrier says a lane should take, counted in business days.
Three things sit outside them. The clock starts when the carrier takes the parcel, not when your customer clicks buy, so the time to pick and pack comes first. Weather, peak volume and carrier delays can push a package past its standard. And a ZIP3 is a block of ZIP codes, so two addresses inside one ZIP3 share a published time even if their actual routes differ.
That is why we do not quote blanket delivery or turnaround promises. Use the published standard to set expectations at checkout and to compare services for each cluster of customers; the delivery itself stays the carrier’s.
Map your own customers in three steps
A national average hides your actual order file. It tells you whether a Texas origin fits where your customers live.

For ZIPs in the 4 to 5 day group, compare Priority Mail’s 2 to 3 day standard with the ground options. Set the delivery estimates you show at checkout from the published standards, not from the best case.
Questions about shipping from Texas
How fast can you ship ecommerce orders from Texas?
By UPS published standards from our Fort Worth ZIP, ground takes 1 to 5 business days across the lower 48. About 92% of destination ZIP3s are 3 days or less, and about 32% are 2 days or less. USPS Ground Advantage runs 2 to 4 days and USPS Priority Mail 2 to 3 days. These are carrier published standards, not delivery promises, so use the quote tool for the answer on a specific ZIP.
Does a Texas origin make delivery slower to the coasts?
Slower than to Texas, yes, but not slow. By UPS Ground standards, New England and New Jersey ZIP3s are all 3 days. New York, Pennsylvania and Delaware run 3 to 5 days, with most at 3. California, Oregon and Washington run 3 to 5 days, with most at 3. The longest transits sit in upstate New York and a few far-West ZIP3s, at 4 to 5 days.
Where does ground shipping from Texas arrive in one day?
UPS Ground is 1 business day across most of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana by published standard, and about 7% of lower-48 ZIP3s overall. USPS Ground Advantage is 2 days across most of the same four states. If a large share of your customers live in that region, a Fort Worth origin gives them the shortest published ground times.
Is Priority Mail worth using from Fort Worth?
Priority Mail is published at 2 to 3 days to every lower-48 ZIP3, while Ground Advantage is 2 to 4 and UPS Ground is 1 to 5. Where UPS Ground is already 3 days, the gap is small. Where ground runs 4 or 5, Priority Mail is the shorter published time. Which service is right depends on the package, so check the ZIPs you ship to most in the quote tool.
Are these transit times a delivery promise?
No. They are the carriers' published service standards for the origin ZIP 76177, captured from the carriers' own tools, and a package can arrive later because of weather, volume or a carrier delay. We do not make blanket delivery or turnaround promises. Use them to set delivery estimates and to compare services by destination.
How do I check delivery times for my own customers?
Use our quote tool at tools.marketplaceprep.com/quote. Enter a destination ZIP and it returns the carrier published transit time from Fort Worth. For planning, pull your top customer ZIPs from your store, look them up, and compare services for each cluster.
