What has to stay in sync between checkout and the shelf

That single source of truth is the difference between a fulfillment center that quietly oversells your hero SKU and one that does not.

When a customer checks out on your Shopify store, the order has to be received, picked, packed, and handed to a carrier without errors, and your available inventory has to drop by exactly the right amount in the same moment. A Shopify fulfillment center is the operation that runs that loop for you.

The Shopify integration runs through ShipHero. Orders flow into the WMS as they are placed, inventory is decremented against the same record your team can see, and fulfillment status writes back so customers get accurate tracking. We require every DTC client to integrate with ShipHero, because at the volume we work with there is no reliable way to run accurate Shopify fulfillment without it.

Our 8,750 sq ft facility sits in Fort Worth, near the center of the country, which gives your Shopify orders reasonable ground transit to both coasts instead of coast-to-coast zones on every shipment. We will not promise a delivery speed, because carrier transit and your carrier mix decide that. What we control is the part inside the building: accurate picks, correct packing, and inventory you can trust.

How Marketplace Prep runs Shopify fulfillment

Everything that happens behind your storefront reads and writes the same ShipHero record.

How your store connects

Your Shopify store connects to ShipHero, our DTC warehouse management system. Orders, inventory, and fulfillment status sync through one record, so you are not reconciling two systems by hand.

Pick, pack, and ship

We pick, pack, and ship against the live order feed. Packing follows the specs we document with you at onboarding, so what ships matches what your brand expects, not a generic default.

Inventory accuracy

Inventory is managed inside ShipHero against the same counts you see. When something receives or ships, the number moves in one place, so you are not chasing us for stock status.

Kitting and subscription boxes

We assemble kits and subscription boxes and configure virtual kits in ShipHero, so a bundled SKU pulls the right components on every order. Built into DTC fulfillment, not a bolt-on.

Receiving on appointment

Client-facing receiving runs 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Pallet and LTL deliveries require an appointment; parcel does not. The facility takes 53′ semis and 40′ containers with a forklift on site.

When an order needs a human

Exceptions are where a fulfillment relationship is actually tested. Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, so a question about an order reaches an operator who knows your account, not a ticket queue. Email is reserved for formal documents.

FBA Prep under the same roof

If you also sell on Amazon, the same facility runs your FBA Prep in our own software off your Seller Central plan, so your Shopify fulfillment and your Amazon inbound live under one roof with one operations team.

Who this Texas fulfillment center is built for

Established Shopify brands that have outgrown packing orders in-house and want an extension of the team, not a transaction processor.

A fit

  • Shopify brands shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month.
  • Non-hazmat, non-oversized packaged goods with a low SKU-to-volume ratio.
  • Brands shipping kits, bundles, or subscription boxes that need components drawn down correctly on every order.
  • Brands that also sell on Amazon and want Shopify fulfillment and FBA Prep under one roof.

Not a fit

  • Sellers still packing orders in-house or out of a garage. We are built for brands that have outgrown that.
  • Hazmat, refrigerated, or oversized product. We do not take it.
  • Brands without a ShipHero integration pathway. It is the operating layer for every DTC engagement we run.
  • Anyone who wants a rate before we have seen the SKU mix, order volume, and Shopify setup.

How an engagement starts

Four steps from the first call to Shopify orders shipping.

01

03

Your store connects to ShipHero, and inventory comes in during the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST receiving window. Pallet and LTL by appointment; parcel needs none.

04

We fulfill against the live feed

Orders pick, pack, and ship as they land, and tracking writes back to the order.

Questions about Shopify fulfillment

Does Marketplace Prep integrate with Shopify?

Yes. Marketplace Prep runs Shopify fulfillment through ShipHero, our DTC warehouse management system. Your Shopify store connects to ShipHero, and orders, inventory, and fulfillment status sync through one record. ShipHero integration is required for every DTC engagement we run.

Where is your Texas fulfillment center located?

Our facility is in Fort Worth, Texas, at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200. It is an 8,750 sq ft warehouse with a forklift on site and access for 53′ semis and 40′ containers. Client-facing receiving runs 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday.

What order volume do I need to work with you?

We start around 30 orders a month, and the real gate is your storage footprint rather than your order count. Most brands we run are shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month. We work with non-hazmat, non-oversized packaged goods and a low SKU-to-volume ratio. This is for brands that have outgrown DIY fulfillment.

Can you handle kitting and subscription boxes for my Shopify store?

Yes. We assemble kits and subscription boxes and configure virtual kits in ShipHero, so a bundled SKU pulls the correct components on each order. Kitting and subscription box assembly are part of DTC Fulfillment, not a separate service.

Can you fulfill my Shopify orders and prep my Amazon inventory in the same place?

Yes. The same Fort Worth facility runs DTC Fulfillment on ShipHero and FBA Prep in our own software. Your Shopify fulfillment and your Amazon inbound prep operate under one roof with one operations team.

How fast will my Shopify orders ship?

Lead times are scoped per engagement, not promised as a blanket number. We control accurate picking, correct packing, and reliable inventory inside the building. Carrier transit and your carrier mix determine delivery speed, so we document expectations with you at onboarding rather than make a promise we do not control.

How much does Shopify fulfillment cost?

Pick, pack, storage, and receiving follow the published rates on our fulfillment pricing page. Kitting and custom packing are scoped after we understand your SKU mix, order volume, and Shopify setup. Schedule a call and we will build a plan that fits your operation.

How do I communicate with your team day to day?

Communication is WhatsApp-first. Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group where you reach an operator who knows your account. Email is reserved for formal documents like agreements and invoices.
