The integration is doing real work, not just passing order lines

That is the difference between a fulfillment partner and a label printer. When stock is wrong, customers buy what you cannot ship, and you eat refunds and angry messages.

A WooCommerce fulfillment center receives your inventory and then picks, packs, and ships every order your store generates. Your store connects to ShipHero, our warehouse management system, through a WooCommerce integration. New orders flow into ShipHero automatically, our team picks and packs them, and tracking writes back to the order so your customer sees movement without you touching anything.

Inventory counts stay synced between the warehouse and your storefront, so the quantity a customer sees at checkout reflects what is actually on the shelf. ShipHero is the system of record that keeps the count honest.

We fulfill non-hazmat, non-oversized packaged goods, with kitting and subscription box assembly configured as virtual kits inside ShipHero, so a single SKU on your store can decrement several physical components in the warehouse. If you sell on both Amazon and WooCommerce, the same facility handles FBA Prep, run by our software off your Seller Central shipment plan, so one inventory pool feeds both channels.

How Marketplace Prep runs WooCommerce fulfillment

Each of these reads and writes the same ShipHero record.

How your store connects

Your WooCommerce store connects to ShipHero, our WMS. Orders import automatically, inventory syncs both directions, and tracking writes back to the order. The integration is the non-negotiable backbone of DTC fulfillment at scale.

Pick, pack, and ship

Our team picks each order against the ShipHero record, packs it, and ships it. Carrier selection, packaging specs, and any insert or branding requirements are documented per client before the first order moves.

Kitting and subscription boxes

We assemble kits and subscription boxes and configure them as virtual kits in ShipHero. One storefront SKU can pull several warehouse components, so your bill of materials stays accurate as you ship.

Inventory receiving

Inbound inventory is received at the Fort Worth facility during the 9am to 3pm CST window. Pallet and LTL need a scheduled appointment; parcel does not. A 53′ semi or 40′ container can reach the dock.

One pool, both channels

If you sell on Amazon and WooCommerce, FBA Prep runs on our software off your Seller Central shipment plan and DTC fulfillment runs on ShipHero out of the same facility. You hold one inventory pool instead of splitting stock across providers.

When an order needs a human

Exceptions are where a fulfillment relationship is actually tested. Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group at onboarding, so a question about an order, a count, or an exception reaches the people doing the work rather than a ticket queue. We tell you what is actually happening, including bad news.

Who needs a WooCommerce fulfillment center

Brands past the point where sending tracking numbers by hand and reconciling stock in a spreadsheet is worth their time.

A fit

  • Established brands shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month through WooCommerce.
  • Stores on a ShipHero-compatible channel, or willing to adopt one. WooCommerce qualifies.
  • Non-hazmat, non-oversized packaged goods with a lower SKU-count-to-volume ratio.
  • Brands selling on both Amazon and WooCommerce that want one inventory pool feeding both channels.

Not a fit

  • Brands still shipping out of a garage, a spare room, or a founder’s kitchen table.
  • Hazmat products, refrigerated or temperature-controlled storage, and oversized freight. We do not handle them.
  • A long tail of slow movers. A lower SKU count against real volume fits our model better.
  • Anyone shopping for the lowest price. We price for the complexity of the work and we do not race to the bottom.

How an engagement starts

Four steps from the first call to WooCommerce orders shipping.

01

Discovery call

We go through your SKU mix, volume, and packaging requirements, and we are direct about whether we are a fit.

02

Scoped plan

Published rates from our fulfillment pricing page, with any custom packaging scoped up front. Packaging and insert specs documented, dedicated WhatsApp group created.

03

Connect WooCommerce and send inventory

Your store connects to ShipHero and your stock arrives in the 9am to 3pm CST receiving window. Pallet and LTL by appointment; parcel needs none.

04

We ship, the count stays honest

Orders import, get picked against the ShipHero record, and ship with tracking written back.

Questions about WooCommerce fulfillment

What is a WooCommerce fulfillment center?

A WooCommerce fulfillment center receives your inventory and then picks, packs, and ships every order your WooCommerce store generates. Marketplace Prep handles this through our DTC Fulfillment service. Your store connects to ShipHero, orders import automatically, and tracking writes back to each order.

How does Marketplace Prep connect to my WooCommerce store?

We connect your WooCommerce store to ShipHero, our warehouse management system. Orders flow into ShipHero automatically and inventory counts sync between the warehouse and your storefront. A ShipHero-compatible channel is required for DTC Fulfillment at scale, and WooCommerce qualifies.

Can you fulfill subscription boxes and kits from my WooCommerce store?

Yes. We assemble kits and subscription boxes and configure them as virtual kits in ShipHero. A single SKU on your store can decrement multiple physical components in the warehouse, so your bill of materials stays accurate as orders ship.

Can you handle both my WooCommerce store and my Amazon inventory?

Yes. FBA Prep runs on our software off your Seller Central shipment plan and DTC Fulfillment runs on ShipHero out of the same Fort Worth facility. Brands selling on both Amazon and WooCommerce can hold one inventory pool that feeds both channels instead of splitting stock across providers.

What order volume do I need to qualify for DTC Fulfillment?

We start around 30 orders a month, and the real gate is your storage footprint rather than your order count. Most brands we run are shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month. We are built for established brands that have outgrown in-house fulfillment, not for sellers just starting out.

What products can you not fulfill?

We fulfill non-hazmat, non-oversized packaged goods. We do not handle hazmat products, refrigerated or temperature-controlled storage, or oversized freight. If your catalog falls outside that, tell us on the call and we will be direct about whether we are a fit.

How do you communicate about orders and exceptions?

Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group created at onboarding. When a question comes up about an order, an inventory count, or an exception, you reach the people doing the work directly. We tell you what is actually happening, including bad news.

How is WooCommerce fulfillment priced?

Pick, pack, storage, and receiving follow the published rates on our fulfillment pricing page. Custom packaging and kitting are scoped after we look at your SKU mix, order volume, and packaging requirements. Schedule a call to scope your store.
