Why a Dallas brand warehouses on the other side of the metroplex

We do not promise distance to any Amazon fulfillment center as an advantage. Amazon controls its own routing, and you should be skeptical of anyone who claims otherwise. What we offer is location inside your own market and visibility into every order.

DTC fulfillment in Dallas does not have to mean handing your brand to a national warehouse network that treats you like a row in a queue. Our 8,750 sq ft facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd sits on the west side of the same metroplex where most Dallas ecommerce brands warehouse, source, and grow. Your inventory stays inside the metro, and when something needs eyes on it your team can drive to it.

The metroplex is also one of the densest distribution corridors in the country: carrier hubs, the major interstate freight lanes, and deep regional ground coverage. A partner inside that corridor keeps your replenishment freight short-haul, and your parcels enter the carrier network from a central national position rather than a coastal edge.

Marketplace Prep was built by a seller who moved 200,000-plus units across 6,000-plus SKUs, which is why we read FBA shipment plans, case-pack rules, and DTC order anomalies at the operational level rather than the brochure level.

What DTC fulfillment covers for Dallas brands

Every service below runs against one inventory record in ShipHero, so a pick, a kit draw-down, and a tracking number all reconcile to the same count.

Pick, pack, and ship

Order fulfillment for your Shopify or WooCommerce store, or a custom integration built on ShipHero’s API, run through ShipHero as the system of record. Orders flow in, get picked accurately, and ship out with inventory tracking behind them.

ShipHero integration

Your store connects to ShipHero for order management, inventory counts, and fulfillment status. Integration is non-negotiable for running DTC at scale with us, because it is what gives you visibility without chasing.

Kitting and subscription boxes

Virtual kit configuration and subscription box assembly inside ShipHero. Bundles, curated boxes, and recurring assortments get built to spec, not forced into a generic pack process.

Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders

If you ship Amazon orders yourself alongside your own store, we fulfill them from the same Fort Worth facility, so both channels sit under one operator.

Freight booking on replenishment

When you replenish or push wholesale inventory through, we coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and book Amazon Freight where it applies. Inbound stays scoped and tracked instead of improvised load by load.

When an order needs a human

Exceptions are where a fulfillment relationship is actually tested. Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group at onboarding, so a question about an order reaches the people running it rather than a ticket queue. We tell you what is actually happening, including the bad news.

FBA Prep under one roof

Brands rarely run pure DTC. We also handle FBA Prep, including FNSKU labeling, poly-bagging, and inspection, with our software pulling the shipment plan out of Seller Central. One inventory pool, one team, both channels.

Who this is built for

Established Dallas-area brands that have outgrown packing orders themselves and now need the operation to hold together at volume.

A fit

  • Dallas-area brands shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month across Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom integration on ShipHero’s API, and brands above that range.
  • Brands shipping bundles, curated boxes, or recurring assortments that need kit components drawn down correctly on every order.
  • Brands shipping Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside their own store who want both channels under one operator.
  • Brands splitting volume between DTC and Amazon FBA who would rather run both out of one building.

How onboarding works

Questions Dallas brands ask

Where is Marketplace Prep located relative to Dallas?

Our fulfillment facility is at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, on the west side of the DFW metroplex. For a Dallas-area brand, that means your inventory stays inside the same metro you operate in, with short replenishment freight and a team you can reach.

Can I send DTC inventory from Dallas to your facility?

Yes. Parcel shipments from UPS, FedEx, or USPS arrive with no appointment needed. Pallet and LTL deliveries require an appointment and are received between 9 AM and 3 PM CST, Monday through Friday. Our facility takes 53-foot semi and 40-foot container access and has a forklift on site.

What system do you use to run DTC fulfillment?

DTC fulfillment runs on ShipHero, which handles order management, inventory counts, and fulfillment status. Your store connects to ShipHero through Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom integration built on ShipHero’s API. Integrating into ShipHero is required for running DTC at scale with us.

Do you have a minimum order volume for DTC fulfillment?

We start around 30 orders a month, and the real gate is your storage footprint rather than your order count. Most brands we run are shipping a few hundred to a few thousand orders a month. We work with brands shipping more than that as well. We are not built for very low volume or early-stage operations.

How is pricing for DTC fulfillment determined?

Pick, pack, storage, and receiving follow the published rates on our fulfillment pricing page. Kitting and custom projects are scoped after a discovery call and documented in a service agreement. Schedule a call to start the scoping conversation.

Can you handle both my Amazon FBA and DTC orders?

Yes. We run FBA Prep off your Seller Central shipment plan, including FNSKU labeling, poly-bagging, inspection, and FBA shipment plan execution, alongside DTC fulfillment through ShipHero. Running both from one Fort Worth facility keeps a single team and a single inventory operation behind both channels.

Do you ship Amazon orders and subscription boxes?

Yes. We ship Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders, though not Seller Fulfilled Prime, and we handle kitting and subscription box assembly with virtual kit configuration inside ShipHero. If your brand ships bundles or recurring assortments, we build them to your specification.

How will I communicate with your team day to day?

Communication is WhatsApp-first. Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group created at onboarding, so you talk directly to the people running your orders. Email is used for formal documents like agreements, invoices, and BOLs.
