Faire Order Fulfillment for Wholesale Brands
Faire order fulfillment means a boutique's order, several units of several products, picked, packed and shipped by the date you gave on Faire. Faire orders sync into your Shopify store, reach ShipHero like any other Shopify order, and ship from our Fort Worth warehouse, from the same inventory your store orders use, so a retailer carton and a single parcel draw on one count.

A wholesale order is not a bigger DTC order
The boutique picked your products from a cart, set a ship date by your terms, and expects the carton to match.
On Faire, an independent retailer builds a cart of your products, often across several styles and in more than one unit each, and the brand accepts it and commits to a ship date. Nothing about that resembles a consumer order for one item. The pick list is longer, the carton is heavier, the retailer is waiting on stock for a shelf, and a miss is a conversation with a store owner, not a refund on one parcel.
Many brands on Faire also sell direct from their own store. That is where the trouble starts, because the same shelf stock feeds both. A large wholesale order can leave the storefront showing stock that is no longer on the shelf.
At Marketplace Prep, Faire wholesale orders reach us through your Shopify store and run on the same ShipHero floor as the rest of our DTC fulfillment. We agree the ship-by window with you at scoping instead of publishing a blanket turnaround number, because the right window depends on your order profile.
What Faire asks of a brand, and what the warehouse does about it
These are Faire's brand-side expectations as its help center describes them, and they can change, so check your brand account for the current rules. The right-hand column is the part a warehouse actually touches.
Expected ship date
What Faire describesThe brand accepts the order and gives an expected ship date. Brands set their own lead time for how long an order takes to prepare.
What the warehouse controlsPicking and packing inside the window you set. Faire's Shopify order sync carries the expected ship date onto the synced order.
Tracking on every order
What Faire describesThe order is marked shipped with a tracking number. An order that ships in several boxes needs every tracking number.
What the warehouse controlsA label on each carton and the tracking number recorded on the Shopify order, matching what left the building.
Label route
What Faire describesTwo routes: print the label through Faire, or ship on your own carrier account and enter the tracking number and shipping cost yourself.
What the warehouse controlsCartons ship on carrier labels bought in ShipHero, with the tracking number on the Shopify order. Whether it returns to Faire follows your Faire Shopify settings.
Late orders
What Faire describesAn order not fulfilled within 30 days of its expected ship date is canceled automatically.
What the warehouse controlsNot letting a carton sit. A short pick or a stock gap gets raised in your WhatsApp group as soon as we see it.
Faire is the source for its own rules. Read the brand help center before you plan around any number on a third-party page, this one included.
How Faire orders run here
One inventory record in ShipHero serves both order shapes, so a wholesale carton and a store parcel come off the same count.
Faire to Shopify to ShipHero
Faire's Shopify order sync brings accepted retailer orders into your store, and you turn it on in your Faire account. From there the order reaches ShipHero like any other Shopify order and lands in the same pick queue as your store orders.
Picked as one multi-line order
A boutique order carries more lines and more units per line than a consumer order. We pick it against live inventory and pack the whole order together, in a box sized for what is in it.
Display sets and prepacks as kits
If you sell a display set or a mixed bundle to retailers, we can configure it as a virtual kit in ShipHero. It draws down its components as it ships, and its availability follows the components on the shelf. Anything that needs assembly beyond that is kitting and bundling, scoped separately.
Your packaging, your inserts
Printed inserts and branded packaging you supply can go in the carton on request. That work is scoped with you before it runs.
Shipping speed to the retailer
Cartons ship from Fort Worth by ground carrier. Carriers publish transit standards for every ZIP, and most of the country is three business days or less by ground. The quote tool gives the ZIP-level answer for a given retailer.
A WhatsApp group for exceptions
Every client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group at onboarding. A short pick, a retailer address change or a question about a carton gets answered in the thread, not queued as a ticket.
Who this is built for
Faire orders fit here when the brand runs a Shopify store, or is ready to connect Faire to one.
A fit
- Brands that sell wholesale to independent retailers on Faire and run a Shopify store, or are willing to connect Faire to Shopify.
- Brands that also sell direct from that store and want one stock count behind wholesale and DTC.
- Brands whose retailer orders are several units of several styles, packed as cartons rather than single parcels.
- Brands that want the wholesale ship date met without pulling stock away from the storefront by surprise.
- Brands that want a person to message when a retailer order goes sideways, not a ticket queue.
How onboarding works
Four steps from the first call to the first retailer carton shipping out of Fort Worth.
01
Discovery call
We go through your Faire orders, your store orders, your SKU mix and the lead time you give retailers, and we say plainly whether the operation is one we should take.
02
Scoped agreement
The ship window, kits, inserts and packaging are written into the agreement. Your prepaid wallet is funded before work begins, and your WhatsApp group is set up.
03
Connect and test
Your Shopify store connects into ShipHero, Faire's order sync is turned on in your Faire account, and a test order runs before any live retailer order does.
04
Send inventory and go live
Inventory comes in to 1925 Golden Heights Rd in Fort Worth, and receiving clean case packs carries no charge. Once it is counted, Faire orders start shipping alongside your store orders.
Questions we get
Can a 3PL ship my Faire orders?
Yes. We ship Faire orders through your Shopify store. Faire orders sync into your Shopify store, from there they reach ShipHero like any other Shopify order, and we pick, pack and ship them from our Fort Worth warehouse to the boutique. Your ship-by date and your cartons are agreed during onboarding, before the first live order.
Do I need a Shopify store to ship Faire orders with you?
Yes, because Faire orders reach us by way of your Shopify store. Faire offers a Shopify order sync that brings accepted orders into the store, and you turn it on in your Faire account. If you sell on Faire and do not run a Shopify store yet, ask us on the call whether connecting Faire to Shopify makes sense for you.
What does Faire expect from a brand when an order ships?
As Faire describes it, a brand accepts the order, gives an expected ship date, and then marks the order shipped with a tracking number. Faire says orders that are not fulfilled within 30 days of the expected ship date are canceled automatically, and an order that ships in more than one box needs every tracking number. Faire updates its terms, so confirm the current rules in your brand account. Our job is to pack to the date you set and put clean tracking on the order.
Where does the tracking number go after the carton ships?
Cartons from our warehouse ship on carrier labels bought in ShipHero, and the tracking number goes back to the Shopify order. Faire's Shopify integration has a fulfillment sync setting that can carry tracking from Shopify to Faire, and Faire attaches conditions to it, such as fixed-rate shipping. Check those settings in your Faire account so the tracking reaches the retailer's order. If you want a ZIP-level view of what ground shipping from Fort Worth looks like, the quote tool will show it.
How do you keep Faire and DTC orders from selling the same units twice?
Both channels draw on one inventory record in ShipHero. A Faire order reaches ShipHero as a Shopify order, so a unit that goes into a retailer carton comes off the same count your store sells from. A large retailer order lowers the number your store sees as soon as it is in ShipHero.
Can a retailer order go out with my own inserts and packaging?
Yes, on request. Printed inserts and branded packaging that you supply can go into the carton, a thank-you card included. We scope that work with you before it runs, because it changes the pack time for every order.
Can you pack Faire orders with several products in one carton?
Yes. A retailer order is usually a mix of products in more than one quantity, so the pick list is longer than a consumer order. We pick the whole order against live inventory and pack it together, and the order goes out as one shipment where it fits. If a bundle or display set is part of the order, it can be set up as a kit in ShipHero so it draws down its components.
What order volume do you take for Faire orders?
Volume is counted in orders across every channel we ship for you, and there is no ceiling. The floor is about 30 orders a month, because we are a fulfillment operation rather than storage: your product should be shipping. Wholesale orders and DTC orders both count toward that number.
Shipping Faire orders yourself? Let's scope it.
Tell us how many Faire and store orders go out a month, whether Faire already syncs to your Shopify store, what a typical retailer carton holds, and the lead time you give on Faire. We will tell you whether it fits and what the operation would look like.
