Influencer Kit Fulfillment for PR and Creator Seeding

Influencer kit fulfillment turns a list of creators and press contacts into parcels on their doorsteps. You send the addresses and the kit spec. We assemble each kit from your components in ShipHero, ship every recipient as its own order from Fort Worth, and record tracking on each one. It is a service for brands that already ship with us or are launching with us, so a seeding wave runs beside your store orders from the same stock.

What a seeding wave asks of a warehouse

A wave is a batch of one-off orders with no checkout behind them, so the list, the kit and the stock count all have to be right before the first label prints.

Store orders arrive one at a time, from customers who typed their own address. A seeding wave arrives all at once, from a spreadsheet your team built, and every row is a person whose first look at your product is the box. A wrong address, a missing item or a parcel that lands after the content date costs more than a lost sale. It costs the post you were seeding for.

That changes the warehouse job. Each recipient needs a clean order of their own, every kit of the same type needs the same contents, and the units the wave uses have to leave your count the way a sale does, so the next store order is not promised stock that went to a creator.

The rest of this page covers how a wave runs here. For how kits are built and tracked in ShipHero in general, see kitting and bundling fulfillment. This page is about the campaign around them.

How a seeding wave runs here

Six steps from the address list to the next wave. The order matters: the kit is defined and counted before the first label is bought.

One list in, one kit recipe, one tracking number per recipient out. The wave runs as a batch of ordinary orders, so every unit it uses leaves your stock count the same way a sale does.

01

Send the list and describe the kit

Tell us who gets what: the recipient list with each shipping address and a kit spec that names every component and insert. If creators and press get different kits, each is its own spec. We write the spec down with you before anything is built.

02

Get the components to Fort Worth

Product, printed inserts and any branded packaging your supplier makes ship to 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, and are received as their own SKUs. If the wave uses product that is also on sale in your store, it is the same SKU in the same pool.

03

Set up the seeding kit in ShipHero

The kit is a list of component SKUs and the quantity of each. Its available count is calculated from what is on hand, so you can see how many kits the shelf can build before the wave is committed. Set up as a Standard kit, it never ships partial or with a component missing.

04

Create one order per recipient

Each name on your list becomes its own order in ShipHero: that person’s address and the kit SKU. Every recipient gets a separate label and tracking number, and one address that needs a correction holds up one parcel, not the batch.

05

Pack, ship and report tracking

Components are picked together and packed as one parcel, with your inserts placed to the spec you documented. The label is bought in ShipHero and tracking is recorded on each order. We agree with you how the batch’s tracking list reaches you, and exceptions come to your dedicated WhatsApp group.

06

Count what is left and plan the next wave

The kit definition stays in ShipHero and the units that shipped have left the count. For the next launch you send a new list and any restock, and the same kit runs again. A changed kit is a changed spec, written down before it is packed.

What to settle before the wave ships

Each of these decides whether the parcels land when you need them. Each has an answer you can give us on the first call.

DecisionWhy it mattersWhat we do with it

Which units the wave uses

Why it mattersSeeded units are real inventory. If the same product is for sale, the store can run low on the stock you just gave away.

What we do with itUnits leave the ShipHero count as the kits ship, so listings reflect what is left. If you want the wave’s units set aside first, we scope how that is set up before the wave.

Inserts and packaging

Why it mattersPrinted pieces are the part of a kit most often late, and a kit cannot ship without them.

What we do with itYour supplier ships them to us and they go in to your spec. Plan the print run to arrive before the ship date.

The recipient list

Why it mattersOne list drives every label, so a gap in a row becomes a returned parcel.

What we do with itYou supply the list and we ship to what you send, so check it before the wave goes out.

The ship window

Why it mattersContent calendars have fixed dates, and a kit that arrives after the post has missed its job.

What we do with itTiming is scoped per wave, with no blanket turnaround promise. Check transit to any ZIP in the quote tool.

How tracking reaches you

Why it mattersYour outreach team follows up with creators once a parcel is moving.

What we do with itTracking sits on each order in ShipHero. We agree on the format of the batch list when we set the wave up.

Who this fits

Seeding runs next to ongoing DTC orders, so the fit starts with a brand that ships.

A fit

  • Brands launching a product with a creator wave and a store, where both draw on the same stock.
  • Brands already shipping with us that want seeding counted in the same ShipHero inventory as store orders.
  • Brands sending PR kits with printed inserts or branded packaging from their own supplier.
  • Brands that run several waves a year around launches and seasons, and want the same kit to run again.
  • Supplement brands sending samples, where lot and expiry are tracked in ShipHero.

We count DTC volume in orders. The working floor is about 30 orders a month, with no ceiling, and a seeding wave counts as orders like any other. The DTC fulfillment overview covers how an engagement is scoped.

Questions about seeding kits

What does influencer kit fulfillment include?

Receiving your products and inserts, building the seeding kit in ShipHero, turning your recipient list into one order per person, packing and labeling each parcel from Fort Worth, and recording tracking on every order. The kits draw from the same component stock as your store, so the wave shows up in your counts like any other shipment. You decide who gets which kit and when it should land. We run the warehouse side of that.

Who collects the creator addresses?

You do. The recipient list is the input: a name and shipping address for each creator or press contact, plus which kit each one gets. We ship to the list you send, so it is worth a final check on your side before the wave goes out. Exceptions that come up during packing go to your dedicated WhatsApp group.

How do seeding units stay out of my sellable count?

The seeding kit is a kit SKU in ShipHero, and its count is calculated from the components on hand. Every kit that ships takes its components out of that same pool, so a store, TikTok Shop or other channel listing never promises stock that already went to a creator. If you want the wave’s units set aside before it starts, tell us on the first call and we will scope how that is set up.

Can different recipients get different kits?

Yes. A creator kit and a press kit are two kit specs, each with its own components and inserts, and each recipient on the list is assigned one. The same kit can run again for the next wave: the definition stays in ShipHero, you send a new list and any restock, and we pack it to the spec already on file. If the contents change, the new spec is written down before anything is packed.

Can you put my inserts and packaging in the kits?

Yes, as custom work on request. Your printer or supplier ships the printed inserts, cards or branded packaging to our Fort Worth warehouse, and they go into each kit to the spec you document. We do not design, print or source them, so plan the print run to arrive before the wave is scheduled to ship. Kitting work is quoted separately once the scope is defined.

How long does a seeding wave take to ship?

It depends on the size of the list, how many components each kit has and when your stock and inserts are in the building, so we scope it per wave and make no blanket turnaround promise. Work back from the date the parcels need to land. Carrier published standards from 76177 put most of the U.S. within 3 business days by ground, and our quote tool gives a ZIP-level answer: tools.marketplaceprep.com/quote.

Can I use you for one campaign without ongoing orders?

DTC fulfillment is built for brands that keep shipping, so a standalone one-time campaign is usually not the fit. Seeding works here when it sits next to store orders, whether you already fulfill with us or are launching with us. We count volume in orders, with a working floor of about 30 orders a month and no ceiling, and a wave counts as orders like any other.

Can you handle supplement samples for seeding?

Supplements are fulfilled here with lot and expiry tracked in ShipHero, and sample kits draw from that same tracked stock. Tell us the lots and dates when the units arrive so the kit is built from the right ones. Some products need a review first, such as certain hazmat items or oversized pieces, so list every component when you describe the kit.
