Consolidating in Fort Worth removes a leg from Oklahoma freight instead of adding one

Your supplier freight and your Amazon transportation already pass through the DFW hub. Prepping there is not a detour you are adding. It is a handoff you are moving to where the inventory was already going.

Most sellers in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman and Edmond already route inbound inventory south. Marketplace Prep operates a single 8,750 sq ft facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200 in Fort Worth, directly off the I-35 corridor that connects Oklahoma City to DFW; Tulsa connects through I-44 and US-75. Our loading dock takes a 53-foot semi or a 40-foot container with a forklift on site, so supplier freight unloads without a liftgate.

The relevant question is not mileage. Amazon controls which fulfillment centers your shipments route to and how they are split, so a prep center sitting next to any one of them buys you nothing. What matters is whether inbound freight consolidates cleanly into one place, whether that place can take a semi or a container, and whether the people prepping your units understand FBA shipment plans, FNSKU rules, and case-pack compliance well enough that your shipments are not flagged after they leave Oklahoma.

Marketplace Prep was founded in 2020 by an operator who ran Amazon directly across thousands of SKUs and hundreds of thousands of units. That depth shows up in how we read shipment plans, catch case-pack and FNSKU problems before Amazon does, and tell you what is actually happening with your inventory, including bad news. Every account gets a dedicated WhatsApp group at onboarding.

Getting Oklahoma inventory onto our floor

Four ways freight reaches our floor from Oklahoma, and what each one asks of you.

Parcel

UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. Smaller Oklahoma shipments enter receiving as they land.

Pallet and LTL

Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches, so a truck is not sitting at the door without a slot. This is the lane most Oklahoma sellers run down I-35.

Container and full truckload

Our loading dock accepts a 53-foot semi or a 40-foot container and a forklift is on site, so no liftgate is required. Send supplier freight direct if that is cleaner than staging it in Oklahoma first.

Outbound to Amazon

We book Amazon Freight through the Amazon Freight portal, coordinate LTL, generate the BOL, and schedule carrier pickup from our Fort Worth facility once your inbound has been received and prepped.

Who this is built for

Oklahoma sellers already routing freight through the DFW hub at volume are who this floor is set up for.

A fit

  • Oklahoma brands shipping 3,000+ units a month who have outgrown prepping in their own space.
  • Wholesale and brand-exclusive sellers moving case-pack inventory, which has grown since Amazon discontinued its own FBA prep service in January 2026.
  • Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
  • Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.

Questions Oklahoma sellers ask

Where is Marketplace Prep located relative to Oklahoma?

Marketplace Prep operates from 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, directly off the I-35 corridor. Oklahoma City connects straight down I-35, and Tulsa connects through I-44 and US-75. For most Oklahoma sellers this is the same DFW hub their supplier freight and Amazon transportation already move through, so consolidating into one Fort Worth facility removes a leg rather than adding one.

Can I ship inventory from Oklahoma to your facility?

Yes. Most Oklahoma sellers route inbound by LTL or parcel down I-35 or send supplier freight directly to us. Our loading dock accepts a 53-foot semi or a 40-foot container and a forklift is on site, so no liftgate is required. Pallet and LTL deliveries are by appointment; parcel deliveries by UPS, FedEx, or USPS need no appointment.

Why use a Fort Worth prep center instead of one inside Oklahoma?

Amazon controls which fulfillment centers your shipments route to and how they are split, so sitting a prep center next to any single FC does not help you. What helps is consolidating inbound freight into one facility on the DFW logistics hub you already use, run by a team that understands FBA shipment plans and case-pack compliance. That is the model Marketplace Prep is built on.

What is your minimum volume?

FBA prep starts at a floor of 500 units per month. Sellers moving 3,000 or more units a month are the strongest fit. We work with established brands and sellers, not other sourcing models, and we ask for at least 12 months of active selling so you already understand shipment plans and FNSKU labeling.

How does pricing work?

Standard prep is billed at the published per-unit tiers on our prep pricing page, with standard steps included. Kitting, oversize, specialty work, problem inbounds and freight are quoted after we review your SKU mix. Schedule a call and we will quote against your actual specs.

What does turnaround look like?

We do not publish a blanket turnaround number, because total time depends on four independent legs: transit from your Oklahoma origin to Fort Worth, receiving into our system, the prep work itself, and Amazon inbound transit once shipments leave us. We scope realistic lead times for your SKU mix in the service agreement and tell you honestly what to expect at each stage.

Which Amazon services do you support?

We run FBA Prep, Wholesale Prep, Private Label Prep, DTC Fulfillment, and Freight Booking. Our software builds the FBA shipment plans and labels straight from Seller Central; DTC orders run on ShipHero.

How will I communicate with your team?

Each client gets a dedicated WhatsApp group created at onboarding, which is our primary channel for day-to-day operations. Email is used for formal documents such as agreements, invoices, and bills of lading. You get direct, honest updates on your inventory without having to chase status.

Prepping out of Oklahoma? Let’s scope it.

We do not make blanket promises and we do not quote before we understand the work. Tell us your SKU mix, your volume, and how your supplier freight arrives, and we will scope it against what you actually ship.
