3PL FBA Prep in Texas for Established Amazon Sellers
Marketplace Prep is a Fort Worth 3PL and FBA prep center for sellers and brands moving 3,000+ units a month. Receiving, FBA prep and shipment execution, DTC fulfillment on ShipHero, and freight booking all run from one warehouse, so a seller anywhere in Texas works with one prep partner instead of a patchwork of vendors.

Why one Texas node beats a patchwork of single-function vendors
Four vendors is four handoffs, and a handoff is the one place in a supply chain where nobody owns the count.
Most Texas sellers assemble their operation one vendor at a time: a prep shop for FBA, a fulfillment center for DTC, a broker for freight, and their own spreadsheet holding it together. Marketplace Prep runs all of it from a single facility at 1925 Golden Heights Rd in north Fort Worth, on the I-35W corridor that links the Texas Triangle to the BNSF and Union Pacific intermodal yards in the Alliance area. Wholesale and private label freight arriving from the Ports of Houston and Laredo, or from rail out of the metroplex, can be consigned straight to us.
The argument for one node is not that we are the closest box to a fulfillment center, because Amazon controls how a shipment splits and where it routes. It is that the inventory is counted once and then stays under one set of records: FBA prep and shipment execution run in our software off your Seller Central shipment plan, DTC orders and inventory run on ShipHero, freight is booked through the Amazon Freight portal off our own dock, and the MP Hub command center holds the client, freight, and onboarding records in one place. Texas is one of the densest Amazon fulfillment footprints in the country, which means inbound placement, case-pack rules, and FNSKU accuracy matter more here than the miles between your warehouse and a prep floor.
How inventory reaches us, and how it leaves
Four lanes into and out of one warehouse, and what each one asks of you.
Parcel
UPS, FedEx, and USPS deliveries need no appointment. The boxes enter receiving as they land, from anywhere in Texas.
Pallet and LTL
Scheduled appointment required. Book the window with us before the carrier dispatches. Our loading dock is accessible to 53-foot semis and 40-foot containers with a forklift on site.
Container and import freight
Your carrier or customs broker can deliver import and container freight straight onto our floor rather than routing it through your own unit first. We are the delivery address, not the drayage provider, and a container books an appointment like any other freight.
Outbound, FBA and DTC
Amazon Freight booked through the Amazon Freight portal, with LTL coordination, BOL generation, and carrier pickup from our facility. DTC orders pick, pack, and ship on ShipHero from the same floor, so one inbound serves both channels.
Who this is built for
One partner only helps if the partner is built for your volume. This is the seller we are set up for.
A fit
- Texas brands moving 3,000+ units a month who run prep, fulfillment, and freight through separate vendors today.
- Wholesale and brand-direct sellers moving case-pack inventory, which has grown since Amazon ended its own prep service.
- Private label brands that want custom packaging, inserts, kitting, and quality assurance handled on the same floor as the FBA prep.
- Sellers running Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders alongside FBA who can integrate with ShipHero.
Questions about running prep through one partner
Where is Marketplace Prep located in Texas?
Marketplace Prep operates from 1925 Golden Heights Rd, Suite 200, Fort Worth, TX 76177, in the north Fort Worth industrial area along the I-35W corridor. We serve Amazon sellers and brands across Texas from this single facility, including sellers in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin who freight or ship inventory to us.
Can I send inventory to your Texas facility by freight or parcel?
Yes. We receive both pallet and parcel inventory at our Fort Worth facility, which is accessible to 53-foot semis and 40-foot containers and has a forklift on site. LTL and pallet deliveries require a scheduled appointment. Parcel arrivals from UPS, FedEx, or USPS do not need an appointment.
What FBA prep services does Marketplace Prep offer?
We handle FNSKU labeling, poly-bagging, bubble wrapping, inspection, bundling and kitting, case forwarding, and Amazon case-pack compliance. FBA shipment plans are built and executed off Seller Central. We also offer Wholesale Prep, Private Label Prep, DTC Fulfillment, and Freight Booking.
What volume do I need to work with Marketplace Prep?
Our FBA prep volume floor is 500 units per month. Sellers moving 500 to 3,000 units a month are evaluated case by case, and 3,000-plus units a month is our ideal fit. We are built for established sellers and growing brands, not for other sourcing models.
How does Marketplace Prep handle pricing?
Standard prep is billed at the published per-unit volume tiers on our prep pricing page, with every standard step included. Work outside standard prep is scoped after a discovery call and documented in your service agreement.
What turnaround times can I expect?
We do not make blanket turnaround promises. Receiving, prep, FBA shipment execution, and carrier transit are separate stages, and some of them are outside our control once a shipment leaves our floor. We scope lead times per engagement and tell you honestly what we can commit to for your volume.
How will I communicate with your team about my inventory?
Every seller gets a dedicated WhatsApp group created at onboarding, which is our primary channel for day-to-day communication. Email is used for formal documents such as agreements, invoices, and BOLs. Our warehouse runs our software for FBA, ShipHero for DTC, and the MP Hub, so you get visibility into your inventory without chasing updates.
Does Marketplace Prep do wholesale prep for Texas sellers?
Yes. We handle bulk receiving, inspection and sorting, case-pack building, and Amazon FBA compliance prep for wholesale and brand-direct inventory. Since Amazon discontinued its own prep service, wholesale prep demand from Texas sellers has increased, and it is a core service for us.
